I’ve lived here with my dog Dusty for about two years. We truly love living here, being around a lot of interesting people and spending my days doing the things I love. What are you doing during a typical day here? Well today I had lunch with some friends, which is so enjoyable because I’ve met people that are from different walks of life. We get to share our lives, laugh a lot, and just have a good time with each other. I often connect with the staff as I have gotten to know many of them on a personal level as well. And I of course walk my dog Dusty, he loves it here! What makes a perfect day at Abbotswood? There are a lot of different activities that are offered at Abbotswood, but I like having the choice to be as busy or carefree as I’d like to on any given day. I enjoy gardening and talking with my neighbors that are fellow gardeners. One very important thing that I have at Abbotswood is friendship. My best friend lives here and we call each other up and can see each other at a moment’s notice, which is wonderful to have in my life at this age. What made you decide to make Abbotswood your home?
