The Beard Center on Aging at the University of Lynchburg

The Beard Center on Aging at the University of Lynchburg is committed to understanding and addressing issues of aging and the needs of older citizens. Senior adults of Central Virginia are served by programs that focus on community education and outreach, involving expertise and support from students and faculty.

The Center also offers information and referral services for senior adults and their family members, research initiatives, and professional conferences, such as the Conference on Aging, the Faithful Aging Conference, and seminars focusing on Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care.
