Short term care
The Wellington at Southport residents have access to their choice of home health agencies that provide regular personal care assessments. Our Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living services are tailored to individual needs and offer escort and transfer assistance, incontinence care, medication management and reminders, and special nutritional counseling, depending on the level of care. Residents have 24-hour access to licensed nurses in case of any emergencies. Unique bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance is coordinated resident by resident.
Support services at The Wellington at Southport also include recreation and entertainment programming and classes for wellness, walking, balance, and exercise to keep our residents physically fit and challenged. In addition, we have a house physician who visits once a week so residents don’t have to leave the community to receive medical care.
Whether you are a patient recovering from a recent hospital stay or a caregiver who needs a much-deserved break, the Respite Care program offered by Capital Senior Living may be just the solution you need. Our program, based on availability and individual community services offered, provides a positive, vibrant environment for senior adults who may need temporary support or monitoring in the absence of their everyday caregivers through short-term stays, depending on individual needs. Through our Respite Care program, we can assist residents in regaining wellness and independence. Respite Care residents enjoy a temporary, spacious apartment with access to a community’s services, amenities, and features.
