Located southwest of Indianapolis and only 15 minutes from the airport, our community is very convenient for family and friends living nearby in Avon, Brownsburg, Monrovia, and Greenwood. Completely renovated in 2022, our community is up-to-date with all the modern amenities. Located close to Ronald Reagan Parkway and near 1-70 and US 40, The Oaks at Plainfield is very conveniently located, with downtown Indianapolis only 20 miles away.
Hendricks Regional Health Plainfield Medical Center, IU Health West Hospital, and several pharmacies are nearby, so excellent healthcare services are easy to access if and when needed.
One of the best things about living at The Oaks at Plainfield is that you have privacy when you want it and other people around when you want them. With 58 residences on the property, there are plenty of friends to be made, and you can get to know everyone! Play games and cards, watch movies, join in group activities, and then retreat to your quiet apartment whenever you like. It’s perfect for all of us, both introverted and extroverted!
Good food is a key factor in the enjoyment of life. With three meals served daily in our comfortable dining room, you never have to go out unless you want to! Eat in the main dining room, café, or bistro! Our culinary team prepares hearty and nutritious meals, always mindful of resident preferences and favorites. Delicious meals are ordered restaurant-style and served to you by our dining room staff. Guest meals are always available when you have visitors as well. And snacks are available anytime, day or night, between meals! So, if you don’t feel like cooking, don’t!
In a nutshell, you can eat your cake and have it too. You can surround yourself with friendly neighbors and caring staff while enjoying your independence and privacy. You’ll live entirely independently, but there’s the comfort of knowing that someone is always there if you need them for anything. To put it simply, I thank God every day for letting me live here in this beautiful place I call home.
Everybody is friendly. It’s a very, very clean establishment. And it’s a good place to live. I’ve had a few issues here and there, but nothing major. The food is good, although I wish there were more variety. They have a lot of activities going on.
We chose The Oaks at Plainfield because of the convenient location, they were remodeling a lot of it, and Mom had her own apartment and could maintain her independence. It was also a good value for the money. Her apartment size is adequate for what she needs, the bathroom is large and wheelchair/scooter accessible. She also has a little porch area out front where she can sit. They had been good about Covid and they keep us updated. I would recommend them.
I’ve been a resident for just over a month & it’s been great! Beautifully common living areas to socially distance & visit with a neighbor by the fire & large tv. Facility has been totally renovated & looks brand new with updated fixtures & decor. Staff is amazing. The food is really good & they will accommodate most requests. It feels fresh & new! We chose The Oaks at Plainfield because we needed limited services and this facility allowed more independence. We also liked the location and the affordability. The apartment sizes here are adequate for one person. The best part about the community so far is just the cooperation and communication from the staff members, they are on top of it. I would recommend.
