Everybody has been so great, I’ve made friends and they have made my stay great, thank you to everyone.
Friends Care Community has changed by life. I have come so far. Friends has more dedicated employees. There is so much kindness, the staff are so through and they are accommondating to the patients. In the rehab, I went from paraplegic to 740 steps, walking with a can and steps by myself.
Thank you for taking such great care of my mom and the other residents. I know she is safe, comfortable and loved. I can’t tell you how appreciated all the staff is while you make so many sacrifices to do such a great job.
Just a note to thank you and the superb staff at Friends Care that helped my dad. My family and I found your facility to be clean, pleasant, and professionally staffed.
A tiny redbud start came as a give-away in the mail soon after we moved here from Pendle Hill, near Philadelphia, PA. Fourteen years ago. This spring its lavender glory topped our house. We continue to treasure that roomy, two bedroom house. Our large kitchen and extended dining room table work well for family celebrations, and until Covid’s rude interruption, we hosted monthly bring-your-own lunches, all sharing individual news we call “weather reports” with our circle of neighbors. Pleasures here include a lively town with many art, social, and educational events often within walking distance, a fine newspaper, and an excellent library. Best of all, Friends Care Community’s warmth fits its name. Response to a clogged drain or replacing a bulb in the light fixture I can’t reach is immediate, and all of the staff are warm and helpful. I’ve been able to get right next door for recovery and therapy after two hip replacements, volunteered and played weekly Scrabble games in the main building. These days my special treasure is daily walks around the pond and through the remarkably tall old trees on our special Friends Care path.
I moved from a farm where my husband and I lived for 40 years. This was the best place we could have landed. The neighbors are great and maintenance takes care of everything. I am 85 but feels like 65 when you live around here.

CCRCs generally charge a one-time entrance fee in addition to monthly fees. Monthly fees may change according to care level. As care needs increase, other funding options may become available, including Long Term Care Insurance and Medicare.
