In 1988, Debbie Johnston identified and addressed a need for patients who were often discharged from hospitals while still in recovery.

As an experienced registered nurse, she understood that many of these people, while not in need of full-time hospital care, might still greatly benefit from transitional Home Care.

Care Advantage was born to fill this care gap and lead patients to a more complete recovery in a familiar setting close to their families and neighbors, while reducing their incidence of another hospital stay.

Three decades later, at Care Advantage we have grown to include a full range of Companion and Home Health Care, yet our commitment to each client remains the same: to provide compassionate, personalized, in-home care that generates full recovery.
